Hi Everyone,
I was checking some Raphael art in the stores
and I found it interesting that he paints Aristotle as the same
figure for Joseph of Arithemea it is said. Kind of an interesting
thought.
Also, I can not seem to find a last supper
painting by him although there was one painting that I could
not tell the artist, maybe it was Raphael, anyway it had clearly
Jesus in a loving 'embrace' of the head in a sense. No way that
could have been a man. But maybe it is not Raphaels. I can't
seem to find his last supper on the net. Anyone have any hits
for a site with his last supper?
Peace,
Dottie

Oops, I forgot to mention that his John is
old at the cross. Although it does remind me of the Lazarus out
of the tomb in the Rembrandt painting.
Also there is a story in the bible, I believe,
Judith, where she cuts the head off of an adversary and it is
on a plate in the same manner as John the Baptist.
