Apostle to the Apostles

Happy Sunday All,

In thinking on the questions that arise from my posting with Steve I have to say I have come to why is it that Magdalene is called 'The Apostle to the Apostles'?

Is it not true that there were many disciples but only twevle original Apostles and one of these being Judas? How is it that Magdalene gets this name and of all groups, the Catholics? We can say they were being nice but I am beginning to suspect something very different than that.

She was given this title in 1669. Interesting number wouldn't you say? I happen to notice my car plate has this 69 right in the middle which got me to thinking on this again. Her Saint day is 22 is is.

Yeah, Magdalene has the most important part of all the Gospels apart from Jesus but this is not why they have given her this name. They know of this truth I am getting at. Or they could have so named Lazarus, Lazarus/John if one so wants to say. They did not.

My thoughts,
Dottie
